 Ladies Auxiliary
 


The Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3280 is here to serve the Veterans of this country and our communities in honor of the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform. We also strive to promote the memory of Veterans of the past by helping the living.

We are a non-profit organization with goals to assist Hospital and Nursing Home Veterans and their families. We are here to promote Americanism, Scholarship, Cancer Aid & Research, Legislative, Voice of Democracy, Youth Activities, and Junior Girls just to mention a few.

Ladies Auxiliary VFW Members are:

  • Women eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States shall be eligible for dual membership in the Ladies Auxiliary.
  • Members must be citizens of the United States and at least 16 years old.
  • A woman who is eligible is a:
    • Wife
    • Widow
    • Mother
    • Foster and Stepmothers (who have performed the duties of a parent)
    • Grandmothers
    • Daughters
    • Granddaughters
    • Foster and Stepdaughters (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were performed)
    • Sisters, Half-sisters, foster and Stepsisters (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen)

Of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

Those eligible for membership in the VFW are those that have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay. Click here for more information.

Proof of service is required for eligibility and must be obtained by the applicant.

Mens Auxiliary
 


The Men’s Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States works to ensure that America's veterans will not be forgotten and those who need assistance will get it. To help achieve those goals, each year donations are made to help make life better for active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families, and America's communities. The VFW's Auxiliary actively supports our troops as well as veterans and their families.

VFW Men’s Auxiliary Members are...

  • Husbands
  • Widows
  • Fathers
  • Foster and stepfathers (who have performed the duties of parent)
  • Grandfathers
  • Sons
  • Grandsons
  • Foster and stepsons (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were performed)
  • Brothers, half brothers, foster and stepbrothers (who attained that status prior to age sixteen)
